Community Involvement

We put Nevada’s manufacturers first. Our dedicated advisors are fully invested in advocating for manufacturers and opening doors to resources, training, and possibilities through meaningful partnerships. We receive funding from public sources to help subsidize the cost of our expert advisors and training – allowing us to capture opportunities for manufacturers only available through publicly funded programs.

Our Mission at NCET is to empower startups, founders, and business leaders through innovative educational programs, strategic resources and a collaborative ecosystem. We ignite entrepreneurial success, foster critical thinking and drive Northern Nevada’s economic vitality by nurturing the next generation of innovators and changemakers.

WBEC-West is a regional partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), a coalition of corporations, WBEs and regionally focused women’s business organizations. As an affiliate organization, WBEC-West implements the certification standards of WBENC throughout Arizona, Colorado, Southern California, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada,Hawaii and Guam. WBENC certification is nationally recognized and accepted by more than 10,000 major corporations. We also support corporations in their efforts to include WBENC Certified WBEs in their supplier diversity programs.

The WPO is an environment where women business leaders access the very thing we find missing no matter how much we’ve achieved: the understanding, support, and counsel of entrepreneurial equals. We have made it our mission to assemble that peer group because we’ve witnessed—for a quarter of a century—how big an impact it can make in the lives of our members.
